smitchel's smartwork

Learning basic circuitry. This circuit uses a breadboard, a battery, resistors, and different-colored LEDs. Yay rainbow LEDs!

Photographs.

I put together this creature as part of a diy electronics kit from Sparkle Labs and added the sequins for a sparkly finish! (Check out the lunar modules kit I used at http://sparklelabs.com/ ! )

8.5 X 11 inches, ballpoint pen, computer paper.

Sketch from life, watercolor markers, 9 X 12 inches.

Dark, murky painting in oils on masonite. Approx 18 by 24 inches ish.

Monotype prints, in oil paint, on paper. This is the same pattern printed four times successively. The top two are more “beige” because I used more solvent with those, so it’s showing up on and in the paper (note: not archival). I really like the textures.

Definitely smaller than 18 by 24 but bigger than 9 by 12 inches.

More pictures. Each is more than 9 by 12 inches but less than 18 by 24.
